The Peacock inspired by Elton John Art Print
Elton John The Peacock. Illustrated Art Print.
What's more exciting that Elton John's piano playing and mad vocals, are his batshit crazy costumes! Sometimes he would wear more than one outfit per show.
This illustration features one of his more outlandish avatars, a outfit made of giant feathers. He wore this while touring in 1974, and then again on an episode of the muppets in 1977.
In his own words... "At various times I wore enormous feathered head-dressed, cloaks, hot pants, jumpsuits, clown suits, a Minnie Mouse outfit, French maid, the Eiffel Tower and the Statue Of Liberty. Wearing fancy dress makes us all feel less inhibited so I think it’s a great way to enjoy live music"
