Michael and Wham! bandmate Andrew rocked oversized tees reading “CHOOSE LIFE” in block letters for the video “Wake me up before you Go-Go,” making slogan tees a big ’80s fashion moment and a trend that crossed gender boundaries.
Michael’s iconic Faith look elevated the five o’clock shadow to a desirable 'designer' stubble. The sharp black motorcycle jacket, blue denims and mirrored aviators, on a video that was shot so slick and stylish, became one of George's most popular songs - while global sales for the album having topped 25 million.
