Dreamland Margate Art Print

Margate by Night Art Print

Margate by Night Art Print. Brutalism meets Art Deco.

My first visit to Margate. What really struck me was the architecture in the promenade, invoking a feeling nostalgia in the most unexpected ways. The sharp lines of Arlington House stands tall against the sky, while the retro art deco charm of  Dreamland sparkles with a sense of the past.

As night falls, Margate transforms, its vibrant hues painting a picture of memories, dreams, and the ever-present rhythm of seaside life.

Capturing these two iconic landmarks at night made it look almost futuristic, maybe even a touch dystopian. Neon lights flicker, the ocean stretches out dark and endless, waves crash against the shore, and a lone seagull's cry echoes in the distance. I found real joy in bringing this scene to life.
