York was my first trip out of London in four years. Post covid, post baby, pulling out of the quick sand. Old town York with a toddler is a bad idea. Negotiating the narrow alleyways with a buggy is painful for you and everyone around. One afternoon I managed to sneak out on my own to the famous 'Shambles'.
